Induction shrink fit is an induction heat process involving heating a metal component between 150 °C and 300 °C to expand it for assembly, after which the part cools to room temperature resulting in contraction and superimposed forces are transformed into the solid body of the work-piece.
Normally in the case of aluminum which is a metal having low melting temperature, ultrasonic welding is carried out within the lower range of temperature and medium or higher range for the metals like (low/medium) carbon steels. The method avoids altering mechanical properties but allows components to be worked.

The equipment is capable of heating the inner racers to 120 degree centigrade in not more than 20 seconds of heating time.
The equipment is capable to remove the inner racers from the axles / shafts and fitting them to the axle / shaft.
